How to create a standard report
Creating a standard report from presets on the Equali dashboard
Pro and Premium subscription customers have more flexible schedules for Standard Reports. To upgrade to our Pro or Premium subscription tier as a Shopify merchant, find out more here, or as a customer not using Shopify, click here.
Equali captures order and payment data from your connected sources (e.g. eCommerce platforms and payment providers). All of this data is standardised to a single Equali format, giving you a single source for your accounts receivable data, alongside reconciliation results.
Equali's suite of standard reports are designed to help you with key monthly tasks to speed up month-end processes.
Step 1 - Navigate to the Standard Reports page: To create an ad-hoc custom report, click "Reports" on the navigation bar, followed by "Standard Reports".
Step 2 - Select a Standard Report template: Click the calendar button at the right of the standard report you'd like to schedule. A popup will appear, with the title "Schedule Standard Report".
Step 3 - Customise your report schedule: Select your preferred timezone that the report will cover. The default timezone is UTC. If you are a "Pro" or "Premium" subscription tier customer, you can also customise the report schedule to daily, weekly or monthly, otherwise the default is monthly.
Step 4 - Generate your report: Standard reports can either be generated now or at some point in the future. Decide on your choice under "First Execution". To share with other users from your company, tick the box, otherwise click "Save & Generate Report".
Step 5 - Download your report: Your new report will be listed under your chosen report template on the Standard Reports page. Click the dropdown to see all reports generated for that template, then navigate to your new report. When the "Status" shows a solid green circle, you can download the report. An empty green circle indicates that there was no data available for your chosen filters. If status is red, there was an issue generating your report. Please try again, or contact the Equali team.
