How to find Customs Duty from your Shopify orders
Shopify applies Customs Duty to certain orders, where applicable for the order and your account settings in Shopify.
Equali does not calculate Customs Duty, and given that there are several settings for how Customs Duty is applied, we only report the Customs Duty amount in Custom Field 4 for relevant orders. These amounts are not included in postings to your accounting system and you should review these on a case-by-case basis to ensure you have adhered to Customs Duty requirements.
Import tax is not reported, given Equali's focus on accounts receivable.
