FreeAgent: What is a "bank account"?

Find out more about bank accounts in FreeAgent and how Equali interacts with them. 

As part of Equali's integration with FreeAgent, you can post categorised breakdowns for each settlement to a designed bank account manually or automatically. 

In order to ensure clean accounting in the FreeAgent platform, you should use one bank account for each legal entity (store), payment provider (e.g. Shopify Payments) and settlement currency (e.g. GBP) combination.

Note: Bank accounts created in FreeAgent will not be visible in the Equali platform. Equali only shows bank accounts with the type "eCommerce", which is currently only possible to set by Equali.
